A bomb threat that was reported Friday morning at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie was a hoax, according to the school.
College officials had instructed anyone inside or near Davidson Hall to leave and not return until law enforcement said it was safe.
"Davison House has been cleared by police, authorities, and Campus Safety, and students have been told that they may re-enter their dorm," the school said in a statement.
