A New Rochelle man has been sentenced to 9 to 15 years in prison in connection with child sex abuse charges.
Hugo Perez‑Gabriel, 33, was arrested last year after allegedly moving the body of a 15‑year‑old boy. The boy was found dead on a sidewalk near Perez‑Gabriel’s home.
Last month, Perez‑Gabriel pleaded guilty to using a child in a sexual performance and tampering with evidence.
As part of his sentence, Perez‑Gabriel will be required to register as a sex offender.
