A bomb threat forced the evacuation of students at the Irvington Middle/High School Friday.
School officials say a note alluding to a bomb on campus was discovered in the girl?s bathroom around 10 a.m. All the students were immediately led to a field outside. The Westchester County Bomb Squad equipped with bomb-sniffing dogs combed the building, but found nothing.
Students were allowed back in the building about an hour later. School officials will not release the contents of the note, but say they are conducting a full investigation into the matter.
