An unidentified woman was found dead at the Vanderbilt Mansion Historical Site in Hyde Park, state police said.

Troopers say a hiker discovered the remains of an “elderly” woman who was “lying face down near the east shore of the Hudson River south of Bard Rock.”

The body is described as:

• 5 feet 5 inches tall

• 112 pounds

• Gray hair

• Brown eyes

• No scars or tattoos
