A body was found over the holiday weekend near a school in Yonkers.

Police say the body was found Sunday in a wooded area near the Oakview Preparatory School campus on Chestnut Street. They say the victim is a 40-year-old male, and that the death does not appear suspicious.

Sources tell News 12 it appears to have been a drug overdose.

The medical examiner is determining the cause of death. Police have not released the identity of the deceased male pending family notification.
