Port Chester police are investigating after a body was found inside a car Friday afternoon.

Officials say the body was in the backseat of a Jeep parked in front of 25 Abendroth Ave. They say it appears to be that of a Hispanic man in his 40s.

The body was taken to the medical examiner?s office for an autopsy. Police say they are working on identifying the man and locating his family. According to Detective Lt. Royal Monroe, the body was in the car for a while. Police say they don?t suspect foul play.
