A body was found in a parking lot Wednesday morning.

The discovery was made by a passerby who spotted the body in a strip mall parking lot in the area of 875 Route 284 in Westtown.

Authorities say the death appears to be from a drug overdose. 

State police remained at the scene until 11 a.m.
