Around 200 students from BOCES programs in the Hudson Valley competed Tuesday at an annual competition to show off their skills.
The competition was held at Rockland Community College in Suffern. It was sponsored by Skills USA, a national club for high school and community college students in technical and career programs.
Students competed in 18 separate areas, including cosmetology, nursing assistant, construction and automotive technology.
The competition was judged by professionals and educators from area programs.
The state Skills USA competition will be held in Syracuse in April, and the national competition is scheduled for Louisville, Kentucky in late June.
