Three teenagers are facing charges after leading police on a chase through Westchester County in stolen cars.
Police were alerted about a stolen Audi and BMW traveling south on I-684 yesterday afternoon. Despite attempts to stop the cars, neither driver pulled over.
During the pursuit, a four-legged police officer named Wren, a bloodhound, played a crucial role in apprehending two of the teens. The Audi eventually crashed in New Rochelle, prompting the 17-year-old driver and a 15-year-old passenger to flee on foot. However, with Wren's help, police were able to track them down.
Meanwhile, the 19-year-old driving the BMW continued south on the Hutchinson River Parkway and collided with a patrol car, injuring an officer. Upon taking the teen into custody, police discovered stolen credit cards in the BMW.
