Continuing our coverage of Black Business Month, we re-introduce you to a man who wears many hats - Superior Murray.
DJ Superior brought the tunes at the News 12 Back to School Celebration in Yonkers last week.
But he has another business - Superior Natural Spring Water.
MORE:
Murray got into the business of selling bottled spring water eight years ago when a friend invited him to join in his company - Water Time.
Murray believed that this was an opportunity to promote a healthy lifestyle to the community. "A lot of people promote liquor and beer - but you can have water everywhere," says Murray.
He says he received support from the community with local mom and pop shops and local diners buying and selling his water. He also credits Dr. Jim Bostic of the Nepperhan Community Center, who lets him use the space as a warehouse to store his cases of water.
