Another day of major heat is expected for the borough.
The National Weather Service continues the Heat Advisory this afternoon with heat index values expected to reach the mid to upper 90s. High temperatures will be in the mid 90s.


A cold front will move through this afternoon bringing a few showers and storms after 3 p.m. A few of these storms could produce damaging wind gusts and small hail. Showers will taper off overnight and cloudy conditions with stray showers are expected for early morning commuters on Thursday.
Thursday is mainly cloudy with some sunshine returning in the afternoon. High temperatures are near 70.
Cloudy skies and chilly weather is expected for Friday into Saturday. Steady rain is expected Friday night and all day Saturday. Lingering showers will persist on and off Sunday, but conditions improve later in the day.
Memorial Day looks mainly dry but mostly cloudy in the morning. At this time the better part of the holiday weekend will be Monday afternoon with mostly cloudy skies and highs in the mid 70s.
