- A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect from 4 a.m. through 11 a.m. on Thursday. Up to one inch of snow and a light glaze of ice will bring slippery road conditions for the Thursday morning commute.
- We have a parade of storms this week with snow, ice and rain.
- It's very cold this morning with temperatures in the 20s. It's partly cloudy and breezy with wind chills in the teens.
- Today will be mostly cloudy, very cold and less breezy with temperatures in the low to mid 30s.
- Light scattered snow arrives after 2 a.m. through 8 a.m. The transition to sleet/freezing rain will determine how slippery travel will be tomorrow morning despite the salted roads. The timing is after 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. for ice. Ice changes to cold rain through noon. 1 to 2 inches of snowfall expected across the Bronx and coating to 1 inch for Brooklyn with a thin glaze of ice and rain mix. Thursday will be a messy mix with treacherous travel expected.
- Friday will feature sunshine, brisk and blustery winds.
- The next chance of wet weather is this weekend with rain, snow and ice showers. A wintry mix arrives on Saturday late afternoon through the night. Rain is possible overnight Saturday into Sunday morning. Super Bowl Sunday looks drier during the afternoon and breezy.
