This morning with meteorologist Matt Hammer telling us what to expect for Tuesday. Yeah, you're going to want the winter coat and maybe the gloves and the hat too. Not only for the morning hours these next couple of days but into the afternoon as well. We are dealing with a bit of a colder feel as we look outside, still dark and early until just after seven in the morning. And it will be a pretty decent sunrise again this morning before more clouds take over through the day just like yesterday where we started off with the sunshine early. We have more clouds increasing except today is a colder day. Now, this is what it feels like outside right now. 29 in Yorktown Heights to 27 in Middletown, right at the freezing mark in Poughkeepsie, 34 in Yonkers. So dress warmly this morning. Future cast shows temperatures barely touching the low forties into the afternoon hours today with more gray, more clouds increasing for the afternoon this evening and later on tonight, dry, but mostly cloudy temperatures over. It will be in the mid thirties into early on Wednesday morning. Now tomorrow is a day that will feature mostly cloudy skies pretty much the entire day and it is a colder field tomorrow and there can be an isolated flurry or two mixing in during the day tomorrow. I think there's a little bit of a better chance for that on Thursday. This is nothing significant but just it'll, it'll pair nicely if you will with the, the chillier feel, adding a couple of festive snowflakes in the air but nothing that's going to stick to the ground. Anything like that. Just might notice a couple of those snow flakes as we go throughout tomorrow and especially Thursday in terms of what to wear today, have the heavier coat, have the sunglasses for the morning, have the hat, the gloves, all of that, a high barely around 42 degrees and even with a lighter wind by the afternoon hours at 5 to 10 MPH as that wind dies off this morning and into the afternoon, that can still make it feel like the upper thirties during the afternoon hours today. Overnight tonight, upper and low thirties, mostly cloudy but dry with light winds still out of the north and then tomorrow is a mostly cloudy and mostly dry day again with highs right around 40 degrees, but there can be a stray flurry mixed in the same for Thursday as well. Temperatures warm up starting Friday 48 pick of the week is Saturday clouds and breaks of sun 53 before rain and some breezy conditions arrive on Sunday next week, chillier with highs in the forties but mostly dry for Monday through Thursday.
