Smokers visiting New York State may find it tougher to light up.
A bill proposed last week by state Assemblyman Ken Zebrowski would ban smoking at hotels and motels in New York.
The state already has an outdoor smoking ban that prohibits smoking in most public places.
If passed, the bill would make New York the fifth state to ban smoking in hotel rooms.
