State police and the bias crime unit are investigating after a large cross was damaged in Dutchess County.

State police and the bias crime unit are investigating after a large cross was damaged in Dutchess County.
Officials say the cross was tagged with graffiti in the area of Brooks Road in Fishkill.
Pictures show the cross knocked down on top of the mountain with the words, "Jesus cares for you" and "God does not like idols, clean up the mountains" scribbled on the wood.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the investigator in charge at 845-677-7300.
