its business alive.
Beyond Costumes in Yonkers tells News 12 that it
is struggling financially from the pandemic, and is
in jeopardy of closing for good can’t move to a nearby location.
With thousands of square feet filled with thousands of different items, it
has been used for decades by countless people and productions. The owner hopes
that same community will keep its act going by donating to their GoFundMe.
"I’m not used to asking for help, but I feel like this is something I
would like to preserve for the public and the community because it offers
something maybe other places don't offer," said the owner
Yon Zweibon.
