High winds and threatening skies didn?t deter fans from watching some of the best pro golfers in the world hit the links in Harrison Saturday.

Thousands descended on the Westchester County Club to watch the action and see the pros, such as fan favorites Phil Mickelson and Vijay Singh. The players were fighting the green, but also the elements. A stiff wind made things hard on the entire field. The rounds were long and the players were tired. The scores reflected the difficult conditions.

Golf fans need not worry after the Barclays Classic is over. The U.S. Open will be held at Winged Foot in Mamaroneck next week.
