A Westchester non-profit arts center is giving back to those on the front lines of the pandemic.
Staff and volunteers at Bedford Playhouse are delivering sealed bags of fresh popcorn to essential workers across Northern Westchester, stopping at pharmacies, fire departments and hospitals. "We decided to give back to the community that is not getting as much attention, like the hardware store and the pharmacy workers, the grocery store workers because they have been suffering a great deal too," says Sarah Long, chairwoman for Bedford Playhouse.
Bedford Playhouse is also giving members of the community access to three of its previously recorded Q&As with celebrities from sold-out events.
