Bear sighting shakes up Pleasantville

<p>Mount Pleasant police say about a half-dozen people reported seeing the bear in the heavily-wooded residential area about 10 a.m. on Sunday.</p>

Another bear has been spotted in Westchester Sunday.
Pleasantville residents say they saw a black bear on Hillside Avenue and Alpine Terrace. It was also spotted on Rosehill Road.
Mount Pleasant police say about a half-dozen people reported seeing the bear in the heavily-wooded residential area about 10 a.m. on Sunday.
Officers were sent out to search but they found nothing. It was said to have been heading toward the Briarcliff area, but it's unclear where the bear went.
The National Park Service says if you see a bear, you should remain calm. Try to make yourself look as large as possible. If the bear is not moving, try to move away slowly and sideways
