Beacon firefighters helped knock out a fire that broke out on an overnight Amtrak passenger train Saturday.

Beacon firefighters put out fire on Amtrak passenger train
Beacon firefighters helped knock out a fire that broke out on an overnight Amtrak passenger train Saturday.
Fire officials tell News 12 they were able to extinguish the fire before anyone was hurt.
They say the incident happened around 7 p.m. about two miles south of the Beacon train station.
As of late Saturday night, all north and southbound tracks in the area were shut down.
