And I used to even say to my mom, I don't feel right. I feel different than everyone else. I don't feel like I belong here. And my mom's like, oh, you're not adopted, you belong to this family. Don't feel that way. Like, because why else would you II I was raised. So I, I'm very blessed the way that I was raised, my parents very open and welcoming to everything. And I know I ever really made a big deal about it. And um you know, now does it run in your family? Yeah. So um we do have uh spiritual abilities. Um But not to the extent of we're all able to connect with our own. We get the signs, the symbols, we might hear things or sense things or feel things. Um But for me, it's just, I guess my soul's journey because of, of where I am with, with what I do. And then once it was almost like I remember when I called up my mom and I'm like, mom, I can, I have this ability to talk to dead people. And my mom was like, oh, great. That explains a lot of things. It was like, it was like, it was like, ok, great. You know, like, it was just like, no one was fazed by it. Nobody was. My dad still gets a little freaked out and you'll see him on the show. Like, even, like, he's like, oh, boy. You know, here we go again. I, I just did something with him the other day about a couple of weeks ago at, at the bakery up here. And he's like, oh, are you doing your thing now? My thing. Yeah, I'm doing my thing, dad. Like it's, but it's just, it's so natural to everyone, you know, and like, you know, like no one ever really made a big deal about it. So I was able to really kind of navigate my gift on my own um on, on my own time. And then I had someone that had helped me with my gift to understand it what was really happening. And the more I channeled, the more complete I felt and, and a lot of people don't also know this about me. I was struggling with my gift for many, many years. And then 9 11 happened and that was the turning point for me where I put my gift in God's hands. And I said, if this is my soul's journey to do this work, then I wanna be able to help people. I wanna be able to give people faith and peace and comfort, to be able to move on here in the physical world, even though their loved one died. And here I am over 20 years later because you, you couldn't make sense of it during that time. Like, how did this happen? I, I went through all the what? Why me? II I can't do this. Who's gonna wanna come and see a medium? Like that was my biggest thing. That's what I was going through at that time. I was like, why would someone want to come and see a medium and speak to their loved one that had died? I couldn't understand that. And then after 9 11, I had a spiritual experience where I was shown and told that thousands of people passed away and nobody knew what happened to their loved one, right? You think about, did they suffer? Did they know what was happening? They were gonna be saved? Did they, was it painful? You know, you just don't know if you didn't even, you know, get them physically back and what that's like, that was a big thing. And then, and then who would have thought 20 years later to kind of go through that again with COVID? People didn't know what their loved ones went through. What happened? Were they afraid? Were they alone? And, you know, it's amazing on how spirit really delicately has me deliver these messages. You know, I mean, they just show me things and I think that's what I've kind of understood is how to deliver these messages. And I think that's the tough part because no matter who I read, you know, a loss is a loss. You know, at the end of the day, parents shouldn't lose Children. But every reading that I do is hard. Every reading stays with me. Um, I pray for the souls that have passed for their families. It's, but is it, is it nice? I don't know that nice is the right word. But to give people comfort, to give them, you know, if you will closure so that, you know, obviously it's, it's grief and it's heavy and it's hard, but it's also beautiful. It is because I could just feel in this moment. And I always say this, you know, spirit brings us on this emotional roller coaster. They bring us through, we feel all the pain, the sorrow, the loss, and the grief and then just like your friend just did and then had me say things and do things to bring a smile to your face and even laughter, right? To me, that's the greatest gift. And I consider the work that I do in honor and a privilege. And the fact that people trust me with the souls of their loved ones means the absolute world to me, to trust me, to be able to allow their loved ones to give them that gift. Because I would say I'm just a vessel, your loved ones did this, right? You know, and I'm just, I've just come to terms with it. I just say whatever it is that I feel and they're always healing.
