A fire closed down a portion of Saw Mill River Road Sunday morning.

The Yonkers Fire Department says they were called around 9:30 a.m. to the Sawmill Deli.

Officials say the flames started in a basement apartment in the back of the building.

News 12 is told one firefighter is being treated for minor injuries and a civilian was taken to the hospital for minor burns to the hands.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
