A Rockland street is being renamed in memory of an FDNY lieutenant who died of 9/11-related illness.

A street dedication ceremony was held Saturday for the renaming of Eastlyn Drive in Bardonia in memory of FDNY Lt. Randy Wiebicke.

Wiebicke was a 21-year veteran of the FDNY who passed away in 2011 from cancer related to 9/11.

Wiebicke’s wife describes him as a man who had a passion like no other for his job.
