A brazen daylight bank robbery led to a temporary school lockdown in Yonkers Wednesday.
The robbery happened at the Chase Bank at 2195 Central Park Ave. just before 3 p.m.
Police say a man armed with a handgun entered the bank, demanded cash and took off.
No bank employees were injured, and so far police aren't sure how much, if any, money was stolen.
Students and staff at School 29 were placed under lockdown because of the bank's close proximity to the school. They were released a short time later.
