Saturday is the first day of the Battle of the Bands, with the top prize being a slot in at the Pleasantville Music Festival.
Seven performers are hoping to claim the opening slot at the festival's “Chill Tent.”
Organizers say it gives local bands the chance for big names to hear their music.
It’s being held at the Haven Performance Space at Lagond Music in Elmsford.
The 15th annual Pleasantville music festival kicks off on July 13.
