Bakers came together on Saturday for Pleasantville’s annual Apple Pie Contest at the village farmer’s market.

Bakers competed in three categories – traditional, decorative and apple crisp.

The pies baked were judged based on texture, taste and appearance.

All proceeds support the service award program for market interns.
