The Back to School Brigade is giving back to military families in the Hudson Valley.
Families stationed at Stewart Air Field in Orange County were provided with backpacks and school supplies.
The event was sponsored by Central Hudson.
It's all a part of Operation Homefront's Back to School Brigade which hosts an annual nationwide school supply collection and distribution campaign.
Since its inception, Operation Homefront has distributed 350,000 backpacks to military children across the country.
