Around 100 residents took part in the Back the Blue rally in Harrison Friday night to show support for law enforcement.
They marched to and from the Harrison Police Department down Halstead Avenue.

The rally comes as calls to end to police brutality and social injustice are echoed across the nation.
Organizers say this event gives residents a chance to back their local police officers.
"You're gonna have someone who's not competent or whatever it may be, but they can go through training, they can be disciplined, they can be spoken to," says Catherine Labrusciano.
Organizers tell News 12 that they are looking forward to planning another Back the Blue rally in the near future.
