Baby formula relief coming soon; latest shipment from Europe earmarked for hospitals

A shipment of 70,000 pounds of baby formula arrived in the U.S. on Sunday from Europe.
Officials say this shipment will take care of 9,000 babies and 18,000 toddlers for a week.
The Nestle Health Science formula will be distributed to hospitals, home health care facilities, doctor’s offices, and pharmacies.
This month, stores are reporting as much as 40% of baby formula products out of stock.
This comes after Abbott Nutrition, one of the nation's largest formula producers, had to shut down in February due to a bacterial contamination.
The good news is that factory is set to reopen the first week of June.
