Authorities: NYC man arrested in Newburgh for driving drunk with children in car

State troopers stopped Rafael Henriquez, 24, on I-87 Sunday night and found he had a blood alcohol content of 0.11 - which is 0.03 over the legal limit.

A New York City man has been arrested for driving drunk with children in the car in Newburgh, according to authorities.
State troopers stopped Rafael Henriquez, 24, on I-87 Sunday night and found he had a blood alcohol content of 0.11 - which is 0.03 over the legal limit.
Henriquez had two kids, ages 4 and 14, in the car.
The children were turned over to a responsible party. Henriquez faces two counts of driving intoxicated with kids in the car, known as Leandra's Law DWI, each of which can get him up to four years in prison.
Henriquez is due back in Newburgh Town Court on Aug. 18.
