Two people from Queens are facing charges in Orange County as the result of an undercover investigation into unlicensed business practices and prostitution.
New Windsor police say they received complaints from residents and businesses reporting suspicious activity at two spas in the town.
The department teamed up with state police to investigate unlicensed massages being conducted at 207 Spa on Little Britain Road and Sun and Moon Spa on Old Forge Hill Road.
Undercover officers say neither Choi Chun Ok, 57, nor Geumsun Yi, 55, had professional massage licenses. They also say the two of them solicited the officers for sexual acts.
They were arrested and charged with unauthorized practice of a profession and prostitution.
Both were released and are scheduled to appear in the town of New Windsor court on July 23.
