The Armonk-based IBM Corporation has announced five technological ideas to be implemented over the next five years, calling it their "5 in 5" list. IBM officials say that, among pending projects, they plan on harnessing the energy from stationary bikes or treadmills to power customers' homes and offices. In addition, they say eye and voice scans will replace users' need to change their passwords for security purposes. A spokesperson says the company is also looking to link customers' brains to their devices, only requiring them to think about who they want to call before the phone dials itself. Lastly, they say they will attempt to close the digital divide and eliminate junk mail.
