Police were able to locate the vehicle around 109 Ashburton Ave., before it took off leading to an officer pursuit that ended at the end of Woodycrest Avenue.

Heavy police presence was reported by homeowners and neighbors in the vicinity.

Wednesday Coverage

According to neighbors, they say over 30 to 40 police officers were on Woodycrest Avenue where the chase ended.

News 12 saw security footage, which the landlord did not want to provide to News 12, but did show it to News 12.

In the footage, the vehicle is shown making its way to the dead end.

It appears that the driver attempted to make a U-turn.

A police car is then seen pinning the car to stop it from advancing.

People who reside on Woodycrest Avenue asked to remain anonymous, but said this sort of commotion does not usually occur in the area.

According to police, a suspect has been taken into custody and no shots were reportedly fired.
