According to police, they found the 38-year-old with multiple stab wounds around 1:30 a.m. at the entrance of 2 Hudson Street.
An early investigation revealed the victim and another man were fighting when the suspect took out a bladed object and stabbed the victim. The suspect then ran off soon after.
The victim was taken to the hospital and was pronounced deceased. His identity has not been released.
