Croton-on-Hudson Fire Chief Philip Dinkler says a fire started Sunday morning at Bari Manor Apartments.

Dinkler says the reports initially stated the fire began in apartment 45.

“When we got here we actually found a large fire in apartment 50, which is directly below that one [45], and had fires in apartments 49, 50, 45, and 46," said Chief Dinkler.

At this time, he estimates 15 people were affected by the fire on all three floors.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
