A fundraising event in New Rochelle is helping support students and families in Westchester County.
The annual Don Bosco Dreams Gala was held Saturday at the Glen Island Harbour Club.
The event highlights programs offered by the Don Bosco Community Center in Port Chester.
Organizers say proceeds will support local educational and mentorship efforts.
Students say the programs have made a lasting difference in their lives.
“I've been a part of the Don Bosco Scholars for two years, and they've helped me throughout the whole process,” said Andrea Barjas.
“I feel like people believe in me,” said Diego Umanzor. “People around me are rooting for me.”
