Students and staff at the Anne Hutchinson School are celebrating their nomination for a prestigious Green Ribbon award.
The school is being recognized for reducing environmental impact, improving the health and wellness of students and concentrating on environmental education.
The Anne Hutchinson School is the only school in New York to be honored.
Staff members attended a ceremony in Washington, D.C. this past summer.
