Another suspect in the stabbing death of Rockland political activist Peggy Nadell faced a judge.
Andrea Benson, 25, was arraigned late Monday night in Clarkstown Court on charges of second-degree murder for allegedly assisting Diana Nadell to both plan and then kill her 80-year-old mother-in-law insider her Valley Cottage home in January. Police say Nadell hatched the murder plot and then recruited Benson and two other women to get her hands on a $4 million inheritance.
They say Benson and Nadell used their cellphones to lure the elder Nadell to open the front door of her home, then attacked and stabbed her to death.
