A man was caught on camera clearly stealing an American flag from a popular bar and restaurant in Pearl River. 

The incident occurred at The Brew House Central Avenue. Surveillance footage shows the flag being ripped down last week with the suspect seemingly looking directly at the camera.

Staff at the bar says it's the second time they have had a flag stolen. It was returned after the first incident. 

Bartender Casey O'Keefe is now hoping whoever stole the flag will also bring it back.
