Multiple communities throughout Westchester and the Hudson Valley have adjusted their trash pickup schedules in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

• In Pelham, Area A garbage will be collected on Tuesday, while Area B garbage and apartment bulk will be picked up on Wednesday. Recycling for Area A and apartments is scheduled for Thursday, and recycling for Area B will take place on Friday.

• In Croton-on-Hudson, Monday pickups will be collected on Tuesday, and Tuesday pickups will be collected on Wednesday. There will be no metal pickup next week.

• In Yorktown, Monday collections for both trash and recycling will be picked up on Tuesday, and Tuesday collections will be picked up on Wednesday.

All other collections will remain on their regular schedules.
