ALERT CENTER: Man accused of selling THC gummies, vaping device to underage customers

On June 15 at 9:10 p.m., police say Ahmed Al Maghrebi Maher, 31, did sell THC gummies and a vaping device to an underage undercover agent.

Police have arrested a man in connection to two non-fatal overdoses in Westbury. 
According to police, detectives were investigating the non-fatal overdose of two 16-year-old females who had ingested gummies containing tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). 
Police say the investigation led detectives to the Carman Exotics Smoke Shop located at 811 Carmen Ave. in Westbury. 
On June 15 at 9:10 p.m., police say Ahmed Al Maghrebi Maher, 31, did sell THC gummies and a vaping device to an under-age undercover agent. 
At 9:20 p.m., Maher was taken into custody without incident. 
Maher is charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
