Alert Cab program offers free cab, Uber rides on New Year's Eve
The program is available Dec. 31 from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. and gives a free $10 taxi fare or $15 Uber voucher by scanning the QR code.

The annual Alert Cab program is sponsored this year by Dana Distributors in Goshen, Mothers Against Drunk Driving and Uber.
Participants must be at a bar or restaurant within 10 miles of their house and hand over their car keys to the bartender.
The program is available Dec. 31 from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. and gives a free $10 taxi fare or $15 Uber voucher by scanning the QR code.
The program has helped more than 2,400 partiers get home safely since 1989.
