Dana Distributors is again offering an "Alert Cab" program that gives people the chance for a free cab ride or an Uber voucher.
The program is available at participating taverns and restaurants in Rockland. All that one has to do is ask a bartender or manager.
The Rockland County Sheriff encourages people to take advantage of the program and adds that accidents are more likely on New Year's eve due to celebrations.
