The sights and sounds of Albanian tradition came to life at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla over the weekend.
Hundreds turned out yesterday for a taste of authentic food, music and other activities native to the country.
For Albanian-Americans, this event was an opportunity to reunite with familiar faces. "It's gorgeous! It's our traditions. Everybody is nice. Everybody is happy and I think it's excellent," says Mindy Perkovic, of Ossining.
The festival is part of a series of cultural heritage celebrations held at Kensico Dam Plaza every summer.
