Acting Mount Vernon Mayor Andre Wallace is claiming that he has found corruption in several of the city's departments and millions of dollars that has gone missing.

Wallace says he's started conducting investigations into the Water Department and the Industrial Development Agency after he was sworn as as acting mayor weeks ago.           

He believes the missing money has been misappropriated or even stolen, and he points the finger at the Thomas administration.

Wallace did not provide any proof of his claims, but he did suggest criminal investigators may look into this case.
