Power is back on for Bedford Hills residents who lost electricity due to a car accident.Officials say the accident occurred at around 2 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Bedford Center and Springhurst roads. According to police, a car driven by an 18-year-old man crashed into a utility pole, knocking power out to at least 150 customers. Power has since been restored. Police say alcohol may have been a factor in the crash and they are awaiting results of a blood test. Three tickets were issued to the driver.The driver was taken to Westchester Medical Center as a precaution, but officials say he was not seriously injured.
