92‑year‑old driver hospitalized after crashing into Red Hook business

Police say the driver suffered a medical incident in the parking lot, struck another vehicle and then continued into the back of the building.

A 92‑year‑old driver was taken to the hospital after crashing into a building in Red Hook following a reported medical episode, police said.

Authorities say the crash happened around 11:35 a.m. Tuesday at the Mid Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union.

Police say the driver suffered a medical incident in the parking lot, struck another vehicle and then continued into the back of the building.

Officials say the crash damaged the credit union’s air‑conditioning unit and electrical panels.

No one inside the building was injured.

The driver was transported to the hospital for evaluation.
