A graduation ceremony was held Tuesday for nine new officers in the Yonkers Police Department.
The ceremony was held at the Riverfront Library.
Mayor Mike Spano and Police Commissioner Charles Gardner was in attendance at the ceremony.
After a few more weeks of field training, the officers will be assigned to a precinct in Yonkers.
