375ds agoDozens of drivers in luxury vehicles showed up to support the eighth annual PCNY Back to School Book Drive.
The drive, which will end in Atlantic City, raises money for 12,000 backpacks and school supply items for students in Yonkers and the Bronx.
"We also put sneakers, hats, fun stuff for the kids to go back to school that they just, you know, don't have it like that and it's a blessing to them that they can go back and feel good,” said event coordinator Wayne Schneider.
The backpacks will be distributed to students next week.
