Dozens of stray dogs have arrived at their new home at Pets Alive in Elmsford. The dogs, who took a 21-hour trip from a shelter in Arkansas, are looking for new, permanent homes.
They were transferred up north after the Arkansas shelter's owner started suffering from serious medical problems.
Most of the 88 dogs are staying at Pets Alive while the others are heading to the group's facility in Orange County.
